Become a member of Autism Tasmania and be rewarded
Autism Tasmania is not-for profit charitable organisation. Our mission is to provide information and practical support to people involved in the autism community. We aim to be an active voice in promoting and developing improved service provision to meet the specific needs of people who have an autism spectrum disorder.
We are partly funded by Federal and State Government grants, however we also rely heavily on memberships and the generosity of individuals to help us raise awareness, increase our service delivery and support people with Autism.
As the rate of diagnosis rises, so does the demand on our staff and limited resources. The services we provide include; disseminating information, providing referrals, giving advice and offering practical support to people with autism. We also aim to provide professional development and information to educators, employers, carers and the families of people with autism.
We need your help to sustain and grow our organisation so that we can continue to be an active voice in promoting and developing service provision for people affected by autism.
