Tascare - TASCARE supports young Tasmanians with disabilities and their families in a variety of ways; parent support, social opportunities, information and resources, referral and advocacy, sibling support, lobbying issues of concern and providing practical support.

Tasmanian Autism Diagnostic Service (TADS) - We are a community service providing comprehensive diagnostic assessments for children and young people suspected of having an autism spectrum disorder (ASD).  We work with public and private diagnostic services, including paediatricians, psychiatrists and psychologists when a decision has been reached that a comprehensive and specialised autism spectrum assessment is appropriate.  

Giant Steps, Tasmania - A not for profit, independent, specialist school for children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Our school is the only specialised school for Autism in Tasmania.

PlayConnect Playgroups - ASD Playgroups for ages 0-6 years. No formal diagnosis necessary.

Gateway Services - Gateway Services is the single entry point to all family and disability services in each area of the State - South East, South West, North and North West.  Referrals to Gateway Services can be made by calling 1800 171 233 and speaking to a Gateway Intake Worker.  Gateway Services office can be located at:
